It is characterized by its big ears, and is able to fly through the air by using them as big wings, but because it only goes at a speed of 1 kph, it is said that it is definitely faster in walking. However, it's very popular because its appearance is cute when it is desperately flying (though it seems that it doesn't feel the same). Due to its extremely obedient personality, its trainers are well-defended. Also, even though a Patamon doesn't wear a Holy Ring, it is able to exhibit its hidden holy power, and it appears to have inherited the genes of ancient Digimon that can able it to perform Armor Digivolutions.

About the Work!

Even though I haven't seen all of Frontier (a fact that I intend to change sometime soon) I always did like the slight design change Patamon had in it.  The fact that the Patamon who will appear in my Digimon Yu-Gi-Oh crossover Digimon Duelist (if I ever get it to the point where I'm satisfied with the storyline enough to actually write it out that is) has the Frontier design proves this.
